We’re looking for Sr. Financial Analyst to fill the ‘jack-of-all-trades’ financial analyst role that start-ups require.

Neo4j has a unique Scandinavia meets Silicon Valley culture and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running while enjoying the fun and upbeat environment across the many cultures that the company encompasses.

The Company has raised >$80M, including a recent $35M Series D, and is growing fast.

If you like a flexible work environment while dealing with some ambiguity, and are an organized self-starter, we’re looking for you. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

  • Most of these metrics revolve around revenue, so you’ll be working closely with the Sales-Ops team. You’ll also need to dig into the GL and have enough accounting chops you can figure it out.

  • We use Adaptive Insights (AI) for our planning and forecasting – so expertise with AI a huge plus.
  • Requires working knowledge in relevant CRM system (SugarCRM or Sales Force)
  • Accounting: QuickBooks – good accounting background required
  • Lots of Excel
  • Willingness to try and learn and possibly implement new tools (e.g. Leapfin, Tableau, Zuora).
  • Assist with future ERP system implementation (e.g. NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle) will be part of the job

  • Main initial areas of focus will be monthly reporting, revenue forecasting, ARR management, and backup on Adaptive Insights (AI) budgeting and planning package.
  • Load monthly actuals into budget file and report on actual performance against plan.
  • Assist with revenue model and build out superior model working with sales leaders.
  • Work with sales ops team to understand customer contracts and impact on revenue, ARR, churn, renewal rates.
  • Assist with annual planning process and semi-annual Board update.

Challenges include multiple currencies, multiple entities, multiple time zones, and multiple cultures as we are an internationally spread company.

Both a hands-on, get-it-done attitude along with thought leadership are required as the business grows in headcount, revenue, and geographical scope.

Other ad hoc projects as needed (which there will be many) will demand creativity and flexibility

Possible examples: Due Diligence, FX, R&D credits, Board Decks, ad hoc reporting, changing policies and definitions and the Company grows.
