Neo Technology Announces Exceptional Performance in 2014, Continues Momentum into 2015

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Jan. 13, 2015 – Neo Technology, creator of Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database, today announced that it closed its strongest year yet, with 2014 activity including a major product release driving a record number of product downloads, widespread adoption of Neo4j by a growing global community of developers, the company’s highest number of new customer acquisitions, and 120 percent annual recurring revenue growth over 2013. Neo is set to continue its growth trajectory as Neo4j expands its footprint in organizations across both U.S. and International regions.   “2014 was a groundbreaking year for Neo. Our release of Neo4j 2.1 added features that make it easy to bring data in from a multitude of data sources, accelerating the adoption of graph databases across a wide range of industry segments,” said Emil Eifrem, Neo Technology’s CEO and co-founder. “Today, enterprises like Walmart, eBay, Earthlink, UBS, CenturyLink, Pitney Bowes and Cisco, as well as startups like Medium, CrunchBase, Polyvore, Zephyr Health and Elementum, continue to gravitate toward the Neo4j graph database as a way to advance their business through data relationships.” Unlike relational databases and other NoSQL solutions, Neo4j is a purpose-built graph database designed to derive value from relationships in the data. Never before has it been possible to derive business value in real-time from data relationships. Neo4j helps businesses create new products and services, as well as reimagine existing ones, by bringing data relationships to the fore.   “Neo4j has enabled us to expand beyond our initial limited use cases to address a much broader set of problems,” said Sven Junkergard, Chief Technology Officer, Zephyr Health Inc. Zephyr runs a cloud-based big data analytics platform that, for example, helps pharmaceutical companies gain new insights into clinical trials, managed care, and sales and marketing.
