CDC Analytics With Graph Stream Zoomer

Session Track: Graphs

Session Time:

Session description

In this talk, we will present our joint work on a distributed streaming system called Graph Stream Zoomer ("Zoomer," for short). Zoomer implements a graph stream grouping algorithm that allows grouping a graph stream window based on different granularities. We show how Zoomer can be applied to a Neo4j Change Data Capture (CDC) stream to monitor and analyse the graph change stream over time. We will present the algorithm, implementation, and visualise the corresponding result stream in a short demo. We are very excited to present our joint work at Nodes '24!

Consulting Engineer, Neo4j

Kevin Gomez, Neo4j Consulting Engineer. Since Kevin joined Neo4j as a Consulting Engineer two years ago, he is working day-by-day hands-on on various customer projects. He is specialised in graph data science use cases in various areas e.g. bio-chemical and finance. Prior to joining Neo4j, he worked as a researcher at the University of Leipzig and focused on distributed graph algorithms, temporal graphs and graph streams. Kevin provides regular lectures at universities and AI meetup's about Neo4j and novel topics such as graph-based RAG systems. Feel free to jump into contact or discuss graph topics with him!
