Dan is a distinguished engineer in artificial intelligence (AI) with Optum Healthcare. He helped build the world’s largest healthcare graph. His personal mission is to help individuals and organizations perform objective solution architecture analysis using storytelling.
Dan’s background lies in metadata, semantics, natural language processing (NLP) and NoSQL (Not only SQL). His current focus is building knowledge graphs for integrated patient records and complex adaptive systems. He is the co-author of Making Sense of NoSQL and co-founder of the “NoSQL Now!” conference.
