Dave is the Chief Technology Officer for Data Science covering the activities of the Smart Analytics practice in Capgemini U.K. Their focus is on delivering enterprise grade artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Dave has experience in commercial analysis products like SAS and SPSS but prefers the flexibility of open source and open standards technologies, especially based on Python and PySpark. His background is in Military Operational Research but nowadays he mainly work on network analysis solutions and machine learning frameworks for fraud detection. He likes to geek out by spending an unhealthy amount of time breaking Raspberry Pi’s.
