John David Martin was born in Austin, Texas, USA. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where he received a bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education and a masters of arts in Discrete Mathematics at Arizona State University.
He taught advanced mathematics in Crested Butte, Colorado at a private academy before returning to Arizona State University to manage freshmen transition programs and tutoring centers. He learned web development throughout this time as a hobby and eventually transitioned to full time web development in 2011 at Unicon in Gilbert AZ. For the past five years he has progressed in advanced UX implementations. He enjoys mountain biking, skateboarding, and learning everything he can about various fields in science.
