Valerio Malenchino, Lead Product Manager for database languages at Neo4j, has spent the last few years working on Cypher and GQL. With more than 15 years of experience in the graph database industry, he has held various roles in different companies, starting as a software engineer, transitioning to a professional service engineer, and working for the last 9 years as a product manager. Before the invention of graph databases, Valerio worked with real-life graphs in the shape of communication networks for several research labs owned by major European network operators. He firmly believes that graph databases will change the world.
