Introducing Neo4j’s Brand Visual Identity Refresh for the Next Phase of Our Growth

Today, we’re bringing new energy and purpose to our colors, typeface, and other brand elements with a refreshed visual identity. This new system better reflects our evolution as a company while staying true to our foundations.

Neo4j was founded on the belief that relationships are all around us and that they matter. From the way our mind connects new things to known things to the way rivers intersect, beehives work, and friend circles grow, relationships are everywhere – and they fuel everything. Relationships help us understand the world around us. They help us explore new ideas, approach new people, and solve new problems. And when you uncover the hidden relationships in your data, you uncover new possibilities in your world.

This principle is what drove Neo4j to create the world’s first property graph model, pioneer the graph database category, and lead it today. More and more enterprises started using graph to solve their biggest data challenges, from identifying and predicting hidden fraud patterns, to supply chain 360, customer recommendations, risk monitoring and assessment, IoT, and much more.

Graph today is the world’s fastest-growing database category and a mainstream part of the enterprise. Gartner predicts that graph technologies will be used in 80% of data and analytics innovations by 2025, “facilitating rapid decision-making in the enterprise.” In December 2022, Neo4j was recognized for the first time in the Gartner®️ Magic Quadrant™️ for Cloud Database Management Systems, which was also the first time that any native graph vendor had been recognized. Neo4j knowledge graphs are seen as essential for generative AI in reducing hallucinations and making LLM applications more accurate, transparent, and explainable.

It’s an exciting time for us! So it only made sense to reflect this shift in our brand, and in celebration of the vibrant community of data leaders we serve. Our expanded palette of blues, greens, and oranges is relationship-centric, reflecting the natural world around us and our humanity with it. It includes color accents that illuminate wonder like a shimmer on the ocean. You’ll see open and differentiated typography, dynamic, approachable imagery, and fluid forms with natural lines that reflect interdependence with the here and now around us.

All of this stands in direct contrast to the way data is expressed in the rigid rows and columns of traditional databases today. Data needs to adapt to the way the world is actually organized. It’s via networks and relationships that give us meaning and context and the basis for deeper understanding, impact, and possibility. Those relationships are the core of what graph databases deliver and in everything we do.

We couldn’t be happier or more proud of where we are in our brand journey, and we hope you are too!
