Neo4j Joins Deloitte Data and AI Ecosystem in Major Alliance Expansion

New U.S. agreement helps deliver more accurate, transparent, and explainable GenAI outcomes for customers across all cloud platforms

SAN MATEO, Calif. – April 3, 2024Neo4j®, the world’s leading graph database and analytics company, announced today it has expanded its alliance with Deloitte in the U.S. market. The agreement combines Deloitte’s professional services with Neo4j’s knowledge graph expertise to help the organizations’ shared clients improve Gen AI outcomes by mitigating hallucinations and enabling more accurate, transparent, and explainable results across all cloud platforms.

The alliance expansion between Deloitte and Neo4j comes as a result of growing market demand for knowledge graphs built on native graph databases- an essential part of the GenAI technology stack. Together, the organizations will deliver scalable mission-critical GenAI applications, initially focusing on supply chain optimization and modernization. Building upon similar agreements already in place for Benelux, Germany, The Netherlands, and Singapore, the alliance expansion into the U.S. is the latest addition to the organizations’ relationship since its start in 2022.

“Deloitte’s world-class services, AI talent, and deep industry expertise make them a trusted advisor for enterprise leaders as they develop Gen AI applications to help accelerate their businesses’ innovation,” said Matt Connon, VP of Global Indirect Sales. “As both a customer and a collaborator, Deloitte has witnessed the power of graph databases and how they help to solve the most complex business challenges by treating the relationships between data as data itself.”

“The integration of knowledge graphs with Generative AI stands out as a transformative approach to enable trustworthy and responsible enterprise decisions and deployments,” said Parth Patwari, AI & Data practice Leader and Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP. “As business leaders embrace Generative AI, technologies like Neo4j can offer the potential to enrich our clients with more accurate and contextually rich business results. Our newly-expanded relationship with Neo4j in the U.S. is just one more demonstration of Deloitte’s commitment to building our AI ecosystem of alliances to give our clients access to the leading-edge technologies that can help them realize competitive advantage.”

Neo4j and Deloitte are joined by Google Cloud in delivering powerful, industry-specific solutions. Their first collaborative offering centers on the optimization of supply chains and is further advanced with enhanced AI/ML capabilities enabled by Vertex AI. This new set of solutions can help accelerate innovation and AI development across multiple industries, such as manufacturing, supply chain, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare.

"Google Cloud is working closely with Neo4j and Deloitte to help customers create value from connected data through knowledge graphs and AI applications,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem & Channels at Google Cloud. "Our joint collaboration will enable enterprises to deploy solutions built on top of Google Cloud’s AI-optimized infrastructure, which can significantly improve business insights and processes across retail, supply chains, healthcare, and more.”

Neo4j was recently named a Visionary in the 2023 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud Database Management Systems (DBMS) among 18 other recognized global DBMS vendors. Last year, the company added native vector search within its core database capabilities and announced strategic integrations with Google Cloud Vertex AI and AWS Bedrock to increase GenAI performance and prevent hallucinations.
