Dan talks about how they created a Recommendation Engine to give readers a richer experience by suggesting different content based on their reading habits. “It was quite an amazing experience,” says Dan.
They migrated from a RDF triple store. Due to the use of Go and Neo4j, they were able to re-write about 12 months worth of work in about 3 months, a huge productivity gain.
