#GraphCast: Neo4j for Pokemon Fans

Welcome to the next installment of #GraphCast – our series featuring what you might have missed in Neo4j media from the past few weeks.

Last time, Kara Doriani O’Shee, Neo4j’s Content & Demand Gen Copywriter, shared a snappy video that answers the question of why we should be thinking about bias in AI. It’s a goodie – check it out!

In the meantime, who doesn’t like Pokemon? (Or, at least, know Pokemon?) Check out the delightful video below, in which Neo4j’s Alexander Erdl and Joe Depeau reveal how graph technology can be used to explore Pokemon. This thorough analysis can help even the novices among us gain a better understanding of Neo4j’s many applications.

Joe built the dataset around the video game Pokemon Sword and Shield. Watch Alex and Joe go through a series of queries and see the data exploration and graph visualization unfold. You can also check out the blog post he wrote outlying his method and results!
