Neo4j 5.25 database feature updates for Aura
The Aura October release has started to roll out, beginning with AuraDB Free, then progressing to higher tiers during the week commencing 28th October.Kernel
- Improve upload performance of Azure files through neo4j-admin database upload.
- Increase Azure uploads timeout.
- Improve Azure upload failure handling to avoid cases in which it would hang indefinitely.
Language & Graph Model
- The Parallel Runtime can now be requested (CYPHER runtime = parallel) on any Aura Professional and Enterprise instance larger than 1Gi – removing the previous requirement for 3 or more CPUs.
- The Parallel Runtime default configuration has been updated to allow its workers to use all available CPUs. For details, please see Cypher Manual – Parallel Runtime.
Surface for Developers and Data Scientists
