Neo Technology, creators of Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database, today announced the dates and locations for its GraphConnect 2013 conferences, and opened its Call for Papers. GraphConnect events are confirmed for Boston, Chicago, London, New York City and San Francisco, with the first event to be held in Boston on June 11, 2013.
Graph adoption is accelerating in today’s connected world. According to Gartner, “Graphs deliver a sustainable advantage to the consumer web.”(1) From Cisco’s MDM (Master Data Management) system, to Twitter’s use of graphs for mapping out billions of connections between its users, to Facebook’s new Graph Search feature, companies across every industry have begun putting graphs to work in order to gain a competitive advantage.
First launched last year in San Francisco with over 300 attendees and dozens of sessions by prominent graph leaders, GraphConnect is the only conference focusing on the rapidly growing world of graph databases and the applications that are making sense of connected data.

Talks at GraphConnect include presentations by Ian Robinson, Jim Webber, and Emil Eifrem, authors of the O’Reilly Media book Graph Databases, as well as other graph thought leaders and enthusiasts. Customer panels will cover topics such as Graphs in Fraud Detection and eDiscovery, and Graphs in Network and Data Center Management.
