Vice President of Developer Relations

Stephen Chin is the Vice President of Developer Relations at Neo4j and an internationally recognized keynote speaker on GenAI, Java, and DevOps. He is a well-published author with over a dozen titles to his name, including The Definitive Guide to Modern Client Development, Raspberry Pi with Java, Pro JavaFX Platform, and, DevOps Tools for Java Developers.

Stephen has a proven track record of scaling Developer Relations for leading enterprise companies. At JFrog, he led outreach efforts to the developer and DevOps audience, helping them IPO and scale with a low-touch model. Prior to JFrog, he led Developer Marketing at Oracle, where he launched the global Oracle Code conference series, spanning 50 cities worldwide.

Stephen supports the open-source ecosystems that developers love, including serving as a board member of the CNCF, as Chair of the CDF for three years, and as a member of the AI Alliance. He regularly speaks at major developer conferences, including KubeCon, AI DevSummit, Devoxx, Devnexus, DeveloperWeek, Jfokus, JavaZone, and Oredev. He chaired the JavaOne conference for three years, was the OSCON Java chair, and was a member of the Devoxx and JCrete organizing committees. 

His love for coding has been passed down to his daughters, who teach kids to code at events like CNCF Kids Day, Devoxx4Kids, OSCON, and Black Girls Code.

He is based in San Francisco, California.
