Dr. Alessandro Negro is the Chief Scientist at GraphAware. He has been a long-time member of the graph community and he is the main author of the first-ever recommendation engine based on Neo4j. At GraphAware, he specialises in recommendation engines, graph-aided search, NLP, and knowledge graphs. Before joining the team, Alessandro has gained over 11 years of experience in software development and has spoken at many prominent conferences, such as JavaOne. Alessandro holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Salento. Moreover, he is author of the upcoming Manning book titled “Graph-Based Machine Learning.”

Dr. Vlasta Kůs is a Data Scientist at GraphAware. With a solid background in maths and research in subnuclear physics and several years of experience in the field of data analytics, he has gained a wide range of skills in software development, distributed computing, data processing and visualization, and machine learning. He is dedicated to expanding his knowledge base as well as pursuing his interest in figuring out the meaning of life, the universe and everything.
