Gartner predicts that “By 2025, graph technologies will be used in 80% of data and analytics innovations, up from 10% in 2021, facilitating rapid decision making across the enterprise.”* This session will explain why.

The expression “join the dots” tells us that if we can link facts together, solutions become simple. But traditional approaches to data don’t let us join the dots, in fact they don’t have dots at all. This limits our ambition for designing data-intensive systems. Graph technology is all about the dots and how they are joined. With data represented as graphs, we are able to store, query, and process it in amazing ways that were not possible with traditional technology (or NOSQL). In this talk Neo4j’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Jim Webber, will gently guide you through the world of graph technology and showcase some of the incredible, hitherto impossible, systems that have been built with it.
