Neo4j Spark Connector Meets Spark 4

Session track: Modern Applications

Session time:

Session description:

Neo4j Spark Connector v6 is a major new release that adds official support for Apache Spark 4.0 and 4.1 while modernizing the connector’s technical foundation. The new version also expands the Cypher capabilities available through the connector, including support for query tuning preambles, runtime selection, parallel runtimes, and Cypher 25 features. These additions give Spark users more control over how their queries are executed and access to the latest capabilities of Neo4j. This session will introduce and demonstrate the key changes in the release. Attendees will learn what is new in version 6, why these changes matter, and how the connector makes it possible to take advantage of modern Spark and Cypher features when working with Neo4j.
