LFAI, which started with the rise of deep learning, is the leading community organization for open-source software artificial intelligence (OSS AI). Its Generative AI Commons supports organizations looking to collaborate on ethical, open-source GenAI innovations.
As GenAI adoption accelerates, graph technology—and GraphRAG in particular—has become essential to overcoming the limitations of LLMs and building enterprise-grade GenAI applications. Pioneered by Neo4j, GraphRAG combines knowledge graphs with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). It’s a set of patterns, best practices, and tools that work together to enrich LLMs with business domain knowledge. 2025 will be the year of specialized models, domain expert agents, and structured output—all benefiting from knowledge graphs.
