CEO & Founder, Neo4j

Emil Eifrem is Neo4j’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In 2000, on a flight to Mumbai, he sketched what is today known as the property graph model. Since then, he has devoted his professional life to building, innovating, and evangelizing graph databases and graph analytics. He is also co-author of the O’Reilly book Graph Databases. 

Neo4j today helps over 84 of the Fortune 100 and a community of over 300,000 open-source data developers, data scientists, and architects find hidden relationships and patterns across billions of connections deeply, easily, and quickly. 

Emil lived in Silicon Valley until just a few years ago, when he made California the base for the company’s headquarters. He now lives near Malmö, Sweden, with his wife and family. 

Emil plans to change the world with graphs and own Larry’s yacht by the end of the decade.
