Getting started

This is the public preview documentation of Neo4j Virtual Graph. To provide feedback, please use the feedback form you were granted access to.

During the public preview, we advise you not to use sensitive or production data with Virtual Graph.

Virtual Graph can be run outside of Aura. When run on a self-managed instance, Virtual Graph requires additional libraries (JDBC drivers) and configuration.

Additionally, we recommend you to use a separate Neo4j installation for Virtual Graph, especially when your default Neo4j database contains data.

See the Neo4j Operations Manual for information on how to install and manage a self-managed Neo4j instance.

You can also connect to self-managed instances from Aura, see Neo4j Aura > Self-managed instances.
