Create a new Graph Dataset

To transform Lakehouse tables into a graph, you can create a Neo4j graph dataset in your Microsoft Fabric workspace:

  1. Open your Fabric workspace.

  2. Select New Item → Neo4j Graph Dataset.

  3. Provide a name for the dataset.

  4. Among the tiles, select New Graph Dataset.

  5. Select from the available Organization, and Project(s).

  6. Select the region, required memory, CPU, and storage, and then Create.

  7. Copy and close the credential information, and store the password in a password manager. It will not be shown again.

  8. Select the tables you need, and Next.

  9. Review the AI-assisted graph model, make any necessary edits, and Transform to graph.

  10. Once OneLake tables have been transformed into a graph, you can use the Bloom and Query tools.
