Administration

Administration is available via the Aura console and not the Microsoft Fabric console. Refer to Aura Documentation → Visual tour of the console for more information about the Aura console.

Graph datasets created in Microsoft Fabric creates a graph instance with the same name in Aura with the same name. Each instance can be managed via the Aura console:

Connect to tools
Pause an instance
Inspect an instance’s details
Snapshots and backups
Clone an instance
Resize an instance
Manage custom endpoints
Delete an instance (not recommended)
Metrics

Graph datasets should be deleted in Microsoft Fabric, which causes the corresponding instance in Aura to be deleted. Deleting the instance in Aura causes the graph dataset to become unavailable in Microsoft Fabric. If a corresponding instance in Aura remains after the dataset is deleted in Fabric, it can be safely deleted in Aura.
